Festival Studio

An instant success in its inaugural year in 2013, David Finckel and Wu Han directed an annual chamber music workshop for piano trios and piano quartets through 2018. Drawing from their own classes, and in cooperation with other Aspen artist-faculty, they formed and mentored ensembles in intensive preparation for a public performance. Cellists and pianists under the tutelage of David Finckel and Wu Han studied the art of ensemble playing, and additionally were tasked with marketing and promoting their performance, which occurs at the culmination of the workshop.
