David Finckel & Wu Han
The Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts appointed Wu Han Artistic Advisor for the Chamber Music at the Barns, the first artist to hold the role for two consecutive seasons. Her role was recently extended through 2023. In this capacity, Wu Han will curate programs for Chamber Music at The Barns, performing on the series herself and showcasing some of today’s leading chamber artists while exploring the breadth of chamber music’s most important and exquisite expressions.

The Society of the Four Arts welcomes Wu Han to its team as an Artistic Advisor for Classical Music in partnership with Director of Programs Sofia Vollmer Maduro. On her new role with the Four Arts, Wu Han says, “Music has the power to elevate and to inspire. With this stressful pandemic year, we all understand music can bring us beauty and hope. To have art and music in our lives is what makes a civilized society. I am extremely honored to be associated with this distinguished organization.”
